What kid doesn’t like finding a pile of stuff that they are free to use to make anything, using their own imagination? In each half-hour episode of Ms. Mola’s Make-ola! spunky host Ms. Mola and the kids in her workshop (the Make-ola!) discover amazing potential in the flea market finds, thrift shop throwaways and curb-side castaways they discover, and learn real artistic and craft techniques to turn their visions into creative realities. As they encounter various roadblocks and difficulties, Ms. Mola guides them with a lighthearted and encouraging approach. Featuring positive, memorable tunes and an array of supporting characters, including each episode’s special Guest Artist, Ms. Mola brings out the inner artist in each child at home as well, as she guides, but never dictates, each young artist toward their own artistic outcome.

Ms. Mola’s Make-ola! is informative and educational in a cajoling and positive, never preachy, way. Leaving the world of possibilities open for individual interpretation and expression, each show features a unique set of materials that spark ideas and form the solid educational basis for teaching real-world artistic and craft techniques, while leaving room for invented techniques. For today’s over-scheduled kids who are taught from younger and younger ages exactly how to think and do things all day, Ms. Mola’s Make-ola! is a breath of fresh air! With the warmth of an energetic mom or young grandma, and with a wealth of skills passed down to her and an imaginative approach, Ms. Mola represents that adult who is always there and always available to help and listen, and is excited to pass on lifelong skills to the next generation!

Thank you for the invitation! I love all your wonderful pictures above. I would also love to see those celebrity actors in action! I knew you were a special person, but this has opened a whole new aspect to you that I knew nothing about. How exciting! Thank you for sharing too. I was an art history major and worked for the National Trust for a while in my youth. I’m all for art for kids! Thanks again!

As a former children’s librarian, and author/illustrator of books for young children, I believe strongly that this program will answer a deep need…that of an open, creative atmosphere, free from prescribed formulaic strictures. I am particularly impressed with the idea of Plan B, or how to create something out of a (supposed) mistake. Best of all, using cast-off, recyclable materials! Creative and Green. You can’t beat it.

Great Idea! Kids today need a happy, excited and creative person to inspire and bring out their own individual creative ideas and Ms Mola is just the person to do that. Can’t wait to be there on the 20th and see the finished product on the big screen.

I loved the show!!! It reminded me of a modern day Mr. Rogers. After leaving the show, we not only wanted to make a stuffed animal, we feel very confident we can make a stuffed animal.

Thanks for a great show and congratulations!

Hello, my brother told me (John Paul Tier) in HighPoint NC, about your program. I have a son who is 9 and a daughter who is 4, we will be watching your program. My son has been Home Schooled since he was 2 and my daughter just started VPK yesterday. From a daddy who loves his kids and from a Pastor who loves his 150 kids, the word will go out today. Thanks and God bless, Rob Tier

I liked the animated socks. I want to know how to make the faces move and what program you used to animate them. That was cool seeing some people I know on your show. I can’t wait for the next creativity camp!
